Minilift /S-lift

A number of different names are used to describe what is essentially a 'mini facelift'. These procedures use slightly smaller incisions and have quicker recover than standard facelift surgery. As in a standard facelift, the goal of the surgery is to enhance the appearance of the aging face and neck by tightening the sagging tissues of the face and neck and by removal of excessive skin and fatty tissue. Dr. Most is experienced in a number of these techniques and can discuss which, if any, is right for you.

The goal of minlift is to rejuvenate the lower 1/2 of the face and the neck. Generally speaking, the results are less dramatic than in facelift surgery.

The results with this procedure should last a few years (not as long as with standard facelift surgery).

The Procedure

The procedure can be done awake or asleep. Dr. Most recommends that for patient comfort and safety, this procedure be done asleep. Incisions are placed in front of and behind the ear. Dr. Most uses the most meticulous technique to on his incisions. Many hairdresseres have complimented Dr. Most's patients on their hard-to-find incisions.

Patients may expect 1-2 weeks of swelling in the cheeks and neck. Some patients recover more rapidly, some may take a few days longer.
